She is 1/2 Percheron and 1/2 Andalusian. To be considered a Spanish Norman a horse must possess the proper Percheron and Andalusian bloodlines.

"Nala" is her first foal born May 3rd, 2024.  Nala's sire is a registered Friesian Stallion named "Phoenix".

Charlotte & LJ

"Charlotte" is a registered Shire.  Her bloodlines go back to the coveted "Snelson Magnus" stallion.  Charlotte is an elegant, smooth mare that has all the bells and whistles.  She is a fantastic producer for us and a very dedicated and protective mum, most recently to our colt "LJ". Ebony

"Ebony" is the daughter of "Legend" and "Jayla", (a 1/2 sister to "Ava". Jayla was sold to one of our special directors for a "bride price" when she married her sweetheart "Abe!"  "Ebony" will stay at Shire Valley for the time being.  She is stunning and has the movement that one dreams of in a horse!

Fallon & Scotty

"Fallon" is also a registered Shire. Fallon is a mare that does it all for us.  She rides/drives and is everyone's favorite.  She is used for beginners in riding lessons and also as a therapy horse.  If ever there was a bomb-proof horse, she is it. She had "Scotty" on May 27, 2024. His sire is Royal, and he is Royal's only foal for the 2024 season.

Renny & Tally

These two full Shire mares came to us in the spring of 2024 - they were quickly moved to the "rescue program" due to being severely under-nourished and very frightened of just about everything.  Not a normal trait for Shires.  But, as of Jan. 2025 - they are doing just great!  Back to a good weight and have settled in to be very kind and gentle, as we have come to expect with all of our Shires.

Ava

"Ava" is a registered Friesian mare.  Her sire is the late great "Piper".  He was one of the highest quality Friesian stallions in the country. "Ava"  has the movement, conformation, and temperament we are always looking for in our broodmares.  She is due to have her first foal by "Royal" in the spring of 2025.  She is shown here on one of her first rides by our trainer, Sheri Tremain.

Sami

"Sami" is the daughter of our late "Legend" and our mare"Charlotte"... she will be bred in the spring of 2025 to "Royal". She will go for her formal riding and driving training this winter, 2025.

"Sami" means "in with the good" in Quechua, a South African Tribe. The morning she was born there was a Shaman here at Shire Valley performing a healing ceremony.  When he saw her he said, "Ahh, very good sign, out with the old/negative and in with the good. Luck fortune, happiness and Bliss, yep, she brings it all!
