Welcome to Shire Valley LLC. By accessing our website (shirevalleyhorses.com) or booking a stay at our resort in Dayton, Wyoming, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility & Age Requirements

To maintain the atmosphere of a luxury adult retreat, all guests making a reservation must be at least 21 years of age.

By booking a stay, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
Shire Valley LLC reserves the right to request valid government-issued identification upon arrival. Failure to provide proof of age may result in a cancelled reservation without a refund.

2. Lodging & Third-Party Bookings

All lodging reservations for Shire Valley LLC are processed through Airbnb.

Platform Terms: Your booking is subject to Airbnb’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations and refund requests must be initiated through the Airbnb platform and are subject to the specific cancellation tier selected at the time of booking.
Liability: Shire Valley LLC is not responsible for technical issues, payment disputes, or service interruptions caused by the Airbnb platform.

3. The "Shire Valley Experience" (Guest Conduct)

Our resort is dedicated to helping guests disconnect from chaos and reconnect with peace.

Quiet Hours: We ask all guests to respect a "Quiet Hours" policy between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Prohibited Items: To preserve the natural peace, the use of drones, loud external speakers, and fireworks is strictly prohibited unless prior written consent is given.
Property Damage: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, including the gazebo, fire pit, or ranch equipment, during their stay.

4. Activities & Equine Liability

Participation in resort activities (horse grooming, horseback riding, carriage/sleigh rides, nature walks) involves inherent risks.

Wyoming Equine Liability Act: Pursuant to W.S. § 1-1-122, an equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities.
Assumption of Risk: By engaging in any activity involving horses or the rugged terrain of Dayton, WY, you voluntarily assume all risks of injury, loss, or damage.
Safety Gear: We highly recommend (and in some cases require) appropriate footwear and safety gear for all horse-related activities.

5. Purchase of Horses

Shire Valley LLC offers horses for sale to qualified individuals.

Qualification Process: All potential buyers must undergo our mandatory qualification process. Shire Valley LLC reserves the absolute right to refuse a sale to any individual we deem an unfit match for the animal’s well-being.
Payment Methods: We accept Check, Credit Card, and Cash.
Finality of Sale: Once a Bill of Sale is executed and payment is received, the sale is final. No refunds or returns are permitted for livestock.
Transfer of Ownership: Risk of loss and responsibility for the animal transfers to the buyer immediately upon the execution of the Bill of Sale.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on shirevalleyhorses.com, including logos, photography of the horses and property, and written text, is the property of Shire Valley LLC and is protected by copyright laws. You may not use our branding for commercial purposes without express written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Wyoming law, Shire Valley LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your stay, your use of the website, or your participation in ranch activities.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming.
